ช่วงนี้ยังคงมีการระบาดอย่างต่อเนื่องของเชื้อไวรัส COVID-19 ซึ่งทำให้การรักษาผู้ป่วยในภาวะต่างๆในทางอายุรกรรมทุกสาขาวิชามีปัญหาได้ รวมทั้งทางต่อมไร้ท่อด้วย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นในเรื่องการวินิจฉัย การส่งตรวจเพิ่มเติม การรักษา รวมถึงคำแนะนำให้แก่ผู้ป่วยปฏิบัติตนอยู่บ้าน
