Turner syndrome (TS) เป็นความผิดปกติของโครโมโซมที่พบในเพศหญิง (karyotype containing one X chromosome and complete or partial absence of the second sex chromosome)

//karyotype ที่พบมากที่สุด คือ  45,X (40%-50%) ส่วน mosaic karyotype 45,X/46,XX พบประมาณ 15%ถึง25% ส่วนอื่นๆ เช่น  45,X/47,XXX,    45,X/46,XX/47,XXX), isochromosome Xq (10% of cases), partial deletions of Xp or Xq and mosaicism hereof, and ring X and mosaicism hereof, Y chromosomal material 10% to 12% เป็นต้น

//มีลักษณะเฉพาะทางกาย  เช่น short stature, ovarian dysgenesis, delayed puberty, hypergonadotropic hypogonadism infertility, congenital malformations,  middle ear infection disorders, including a range of autoimmune conditions and type 2 diabetes, and neurocognitive deficits.
